Your experience begins with the comfort of a private van at your disposal, welcoming you directly at your preferred meeting point and accompanying you throughout the day, including the return at the end of the tour. The journey starts in Pompeii, where you will enter the archaeological site from the main gate, Porta Marina, with Mount Vesuvius rising dramatically in the background. During your 2-hour private guided tour, you will retrace the final moments of the city — the eruption, the catastrophe, and the fascinating history of the excavations — while exploring the Basilica, the Forum, temples, baths, shops, and remarkable residences. Walking along the ancient streets, history will come alive through engaging storytelling and deep archaeological insight.
After the first visit, you will enjoy approximately one hour of free time for lunch, allowing you to relax and recharge before continuing the experience.
The day continues in Herculaneum, where you will take part in another 2-hour guided tour of this extraordinarily preserved ancient city. Multi-story houses, vibrant frescoes, mosaics, and even carbonized wooden elements provide an unparalleled understanding of Roman daily life, offering a more intimate and immersive atmosphere compared to other archaeological sites.
